Self Pampered Christmas gift - Philip Starck Designer Mouse

I have been extremely lucky to get myself posted and landed up in OETI - Ordnance engineering Training Institute. The feeling is exactly like going to school, with all the lab lessons as well as workshop practical. Remind me of those D&T days during secondary school. Everyday is quite slack - lesson, tea break, lesson, lunch, lesson, tea break, lesson / PT and GO HOME! The most tedious part is the journey to and fro. Takes me 1.5 hours and I've to wake up at 5.30a.m. Transporation cost is a killer for me, especially with a monthly allowance of 350. how am i gonna survive?! But hopefully, I'll get promoted to Specialist, after my course and 2 months of on-job training. Though pay is 100 -150 lower than combat specialist, at least there's an increment. And I need not "chiong" mountain in SISPEC to get my 3rd Sgt. =) Pray that I'll be posted to a nearby unit after the course end in 3 months time. What can I say, I'm just thankful!

OK! Christmas is here! How are you guys celebrating? I think i had a great christmas besides the fact that I should stay longer for each places I went to. Like I was telling melis, I enjoy christmas as its like a time of giving and the process of choosing gifts & squeezing through the bombarded shopping malls. Its a bit irritating though, but hey, you can't deny the fact that its lively and filled with festivity!

Had an early christmas lunch at Billy with esther, erjie and dajie yesterday. We're all famished and dig into the christmas meal as soon as its served. Had so much fun there, as we were entertained by the waitress who served us early this year. She's such an ass and we were wondering if she's drinking while she's working. I think the most memorable thing is when she served me an extra plate for the ribs, she left it on the table and said "For your ribs!" Esther was like "(-_-)" For his ribs?!" And not forgetting the malay waiter. I was traumatised by erjie's remark. Not to forget, MIMI! My cat. haha! erjie, I'm gonna get the bag ok! Nonetheless, really had a great time hanging out with them. Haix, poor esther flying off for NYC tonight again. Well, its just part of the job. And the worst part is she's flying off the day before Chinese New Year eve next month. Oh....we're going to Yanzi's concert next month on the 14th. Yeah, super duper x 10 happy!! But fingers cross as she happens to be on standby, please don't get activated! Getting the tickets tomorrow or tuesday.

Next is the christmas BBQ at Tracy's and Hazel's place. A gathering for the Saffroners. Had fun and a great time at their place because its been 3 months since I last seen my boss and had so much to share about my army experience as well as hearing from them interesting stuff happening. I really miss those days in Saffron. Thanks for remembering me and for the invitation! Thanks Hazel and Tracy for the chocolates, Nancy, Jenson and Jodi for the Boeing 747 Model. I love it loads! Also, I know i've always been saying this, but I wanna hold a great christmas party at my place next year, with the presence of christmas tree and gifts under the tree. I like their place alot as just so cosy feel. =)

Next, went to ting's place for Christmas party. We whipped up a meal and had our first log cake. (Abit creamy hor, ting you better run 5 rounds around IMH to burn the cream. haha) Though there's only 5 of us, but we did had a great laugh about our ugly past - especially hui's most "beautiful" pose of the year. We had a gift exchange and I got lian's gift. I like it soooo much. Cute and meaningful. =) Anyway, apologies for leaving early as I've a party at my aunty's place later. With my departure, that's left with T.L.E.H. As years goes, the number of people turning up for celebration is almost pathetic. I was a lil' disappointed, but just have the accept the fact that our lives don't revolves with each and single everyone of us anymore. Merry Christmas my friends and thanks for hanging there throughout these years!

That's about it, 7 more days to a brand new year (that's fast). I think 2005 had been memorable for me with so much things happening! Shall give you guys more updates and also lay down some of my new year resolutions and wishes soon. take care and have a great time people!
